These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of travel services provided by African Travel Co (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the use of our website. By booking a trip or using our services, you (“client,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided
African Travel Co offers curated travel experiences in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and nearby regions. We specialize in customized itineraries, including but not limited to:

Adventure travel

Luxury escapes
We facilitate bookings through vetted third-party providers, including via the TBO.com platform, which gives access to accommodations, flights, transfers, and activities.
2. Booking and Payment

All bookings are subject to availability.

A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.

Full payment is required before final confirmation.

Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change due to exchange rates, supplier pricing, or availability.
3. Use of TBO Platform
We use TBO.com to book travel components. Bookings made through TBO are governed by their own terms and conditions, which are incorporated into this agreement by reference. You can view them at www.tbo.com.
We act as a facilitator and do not own or directly operate accommodation, airlines, or activity providers.
4. Changes and Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees apply as per each supplier's (TBO’s) policy.

Refunds are subject to supplier terms.

Missed or unused services are non-refundable.
5. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover:

Cancellations or delays

Medical emergencies

Lost or stolen baggage
We do not provide insurance and are not liable for costs incurred due to lack of coverage.
6. Client Responsibilities
As the traveler, you are responsible for:

Having valid travel documents (passport, visas, etc.)

Meeting health and vaccine requirements

Confirming bookings and departure times

Adhering to local laws and customs

Providing accurate information when booking
7. Liability
African Travel Co acts as an intermediary only. We are not liable for:

Personal injury, death, or property damage

Delays or changes beyond our control

Losses resulting from service providers’ actions or omissions
We are also not liable for force majeure events like:

Natural disasters

Government actions
-
Pandemics

Political unrest
8. Complaints
Please notify us of any issue during your trip. Complaints after the trip may not be resolved unless reasonable attempts were made during travel.
9. Intellectual Property
All site content (itineraries, text, images, branding) is protected by copyright. You may not reuse or republish without written consent.
10. Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for how we collect, store, and use personal data.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by South African law. Any disputes will be handled in a South African court.
12. Updates
